Great resource for counseling!. The only difference in this book and the newer edition (edition 4) is the updated statistical information, which you could always look up online since those numbers change regardless.. I recieved this book with a few pages falling out and pages glues to the pages of the book. With no solutions and no examples on how to do these problems they tend to be confusing and do not aid in the understanding of the course material.. New parents should be encouraged to read this book, as it has valuable information (based on research, obviously).My only problem is that I am forced to keep it because the sell-back value is only $3, even though I paid Amazon $60 for it just a few weeks ago. Because of the subject matter, I think this book resonates beyond the young adult audience and would be enjoyed by adults as well as all walks of sexual orientation.There are a few things I would've liked to have seen like Lauren struggling more with intimacy and vulnerability after she gets in the relationship and, in a way, I felt closer to Cameron in the first half of the book than the second so I wish that iRathus received his Ph.D. from the University at Albany and is on the faculty of The College of New Jersey.
